Possible solution to a first world problem.
Been on the wait list for DJ 41 Blue Dial with Jubilee bracelet for about a year. I have been offered the watch with the oyster bracelet from my AD with a further unknown wait time to get it with the Jubilee bracelet. I have been made aware that one can buy the Jubilee bracelet separately and change them around as one pleases. Has anyone ever done this? and would you recommend taking this option? I do really like the oyster bracelet and it would suit my style better, but the Jubilee is prettier and was my initial interest. Really torn on this one.

Hold out for what you really want, what your gut tells you, whether buying the exact specification you want grey market or waiting for your AD. Always

Hold out for jubilee. Once you wear it and see the comfort difference you’ll probably not use the oyster much.

Thanks. Problem is I'm not really sure what I really want. That's why I'm thinking about the two bracelet solution.

I understand getting the jubilee for the SkyD is no longer possible. I've been asking my AD and a couple of others for over a year. Finally one told me Rolex isn't offering them any longer.
That doesn't mean the same is true for the DJ, but things could be moving in that direction. So I'd say hold out for the Jubilee and source an oyster later. |

I have a DJ 41 Wimbledon dial on oyster and want a jubilee as well. Anybody know how to go about getting one? Rolex would not sell me one even after calling them directly

I would definitely buy it after waiting - obviously keenly aswell. Spend the extra and grab the bracelet it’ll be forgotten about before you know it :)
Edit - didn’t read the thread entirely - also would recommend making sure you can make this happen before you do buy. |
