Of course. Why not

Go look at the for sale section for here from 2017 and earlier. Almost every single model was cheaper on the secondary market

I have bought hundreds of watches in my 30 plus years of collecting from AD's, Trusted Sellers and individuals. Never have I received a fake watch from any of them. Might just be lucky but with some due diligence you can eliminate a lot of risk.

Agree with many posters here. If your Rolex and watch education is up to snuff, then I think grey is fine. I've only bought grey and have had no issues.

Just bragging rights...

AD for sure if they don't waste my time and make me do their donkey dance. If they do, then I'm going grey. Find a reputable grey, such as DSW. Buy your watch. Pay a little more and it'll be at your doorstep in less than 24hours. What's to complain about?

Time is terrible thing to waste. Especially if tomorrow's never guaranteed. Rather be happy with having something ASAP and paying slightly more. vs waiting years and the odds of it never materializing is likely.

Well, I can say that I just made a purchase from a TD that sells frequently here in the classified section, and it was an amazingly smooth white glove experience. It’s the second time I bought from a TD that sells here on TRF! It’s the only time I’ve bought grey, and have to say both experiences were super easy, and I did feel safe making the purchase!

I’ll add that I feel like I did diligence by talking at length with both sellers, and getting to know more about them, their business, and how they came to have the watch I was buying.
