1989 Tudor 94510 Oyster Prince Date-Day 36mm Rare Blue Linen Dial NOS Unpolished

For sale is a New Old Stock (NOS) condition 36mm stainless steel Tudor Oyster Prince Date-Date. The 94510 is a 295,000 serial, circa 1989 production, and was supplied to its original authorized retailer sometime in the 1990s, based on the date of the bracelet’s clasp code and the print date of the manual accompanying the watch (April 1993 and June 1993, respectively).

The Tudor features a brushed steel case, which is accented by a fixed engine turned steel bezel. The Date-Day is mounted on its original 7836 brushed steel folded link Oyster bracelet, which contains full links, and is affixed to the case via 358B stamped end links. The 7836 bracelet is stamped with an “R4” clasp code, which corresponds with a production date of May, 1993. The Tudor features an exceptionally rare blue linen dial which contains: applied polished 18 karat white gold index hour markers, polished white gold tritium coated hands, and a magnified date window aperture at 3 o’clock. The tritium lume plots and hands have acquired an attractive and warm custard colored patina with age, which is even in color. The movement used in the 94510 is the automatic ETA caliber 2834.

Condition:
The case has been preserved exceptionally well and is truly immaculate with no noticeable imperfection and super crisp brush lines. The Oyster bracelet has also been preserved exceptionally well and remains unsized with no noticeable stretch, while the clasp remains “sticky” with noticeable resistance to open / close due to having only been opened so many times. Overall the Tudor is in NOS condition, and truly a rare find, given that it is not only one of the best condition examples to recently surface of a 94510 Date-Day, but also happens to feature an uber rare blue linen dial !
