Extract from Archives document is now a PDF

not sure when this change occurred, but you used to get a little cardboard book for $540

now you get a PDF

There's a second more expensive option if you want the book.

I don’t get the point of extract from archives honestly. It’s just a check of whether the serial number exists - the boutique could probably run the same check for 5 mins. You are paying for the pleasure of AP attesting to that serial number but it’s not authenticity checks… you are still not protected from frankenstein watch (legit case and serial)

Their charge for actual authenticity document is equivalent or more to servicing charge. Might as well send for servicing as there is no way they will proceed if they found out anything is not authentic

They used to let u order extract online or in the boutique

Now it has to be sent in for service to get a pdf extract or the more expensive certificate of authenticity.

Are you sure it needs to be sent in? I called in a couple of months ago and they just need photos in order to send you the PDF of extract.

For the "more expensive" option I do know and agree that the watch must be sent in for them to perform that service
