I wanna buy one and determine how hard it is to find and which of the two dial options is more versatile.

No PM Daytona is hard to find. They are available at ADs or with a short wait.
Black dial will have more contrast with yellow gold

I like the white dial as it is color neutral and I have so many black dial watches.

On 508 I thing while looks better. on 518 I'd go with black.
