Bel Canto C1 Classic
Great color choices
More legible hand set + roman numerals Box sapphire crystal Guilloché pattern Leveled up straps Seems like an excellent open edition! What’s your favorite dial color? |

Looks great, nice variation. If i may, wish they'd darken the subdial 'arms', it would add to legibility IMHO.
Terrible Pshop below, too busy to make it look nice atm.

They Breguet'd it up quite a bit which of course catches my attention as a monster Breguet fan. I owned one of the original generation models for a minute that I just didn't connect with however I think maybe the super long wait killed it for me. I'll wait til these hit the used market down the road and maybe give it another shot.

I find my Bel Canto is a bit thick on the wrist as it is. Now they've upped the thickness just a tad more. The new version is a bit dressier looking, but the watch itself wears more like a sports watch due to its proportions. I think I'll just stick with my purple OG Bel Canto.

Did you order on the strap or bracelet? I am not sure how I feel about the looks of the bracelet on this watch.

I had an order for a purple one. Had to cancel it. Now I’m thinking I’m glad I waited. Think I’ll place an order for Oro (gold) on the brown leather strap.

I think the Roman numerals and the whole watch look good. However, I believe that the legibility of these numbers will be close to zero, since their height will be less than or around 1 mm.

Hmmm, dunno without seeing in person. The dial is easy to read for me IF I get the center arm bits darkened. My eyes get confused when the hands are moving over those like-colored arm bits.
The blued hour/minute hands should make it much easier to read IMHO. On the purple dial version here, i've considered just having the dial's arm bits modded / darkened. Maybe even have fun with: https://www.culturehustleusa.com/col...ucts/black-4-0 It really is an amazing timepiece IMHO, and the chime sound and SPL output are impressive.

I ordered the original one but cancelled the order when I saw it in person. For me it's too big and tall and mostly the case finishing feels off (too industrial).
But I can see the charm for it and I would've ordered the green one for this new batch but I'm worried that I'll be turned off by the case again. |

The guilloché and Roman hours look great. I've become quite a fan of Christopher Ward.
