I can see that Speedkings could be very fun to collect. Out of curiosity, are they all manual, or are there any Speedking Perpetuals?

My god, those are very awesome. I don’t see that many Rolex watches pre-1950/60s.

Some of those models looks familiar….may be the exact model(s) Steve McQueen wore in “The Great Escape” (love that movie by the way)

If that watch could talk, the stories it would tell would be very interesting I am sure.

All but two have been fully serviced for another 80 years of use by the next generation.

Handsome Haul of Malcolm Campbell's (world speed record holder land and sea) as they sometimes get called here in uk .

Also a watch that many WW2 Prisoners of War chose as a gift from Wilsdorf while in incarceration in say Colditz POW camp (hand back into the NAAFI (stores) on their homecoming) or they could keep and pay it off interest free over ten years !

Love a collection of out of the ordinary pieces. Especially keeping pre-52 swiss made stuff alive
