As a non-AP owner & sometimes poo-poo'er on quartz watches, I would not spend money on this.

If you were thinking to spend less on an older APRO quartz because APROs are very in vogue now, I would not. I'd wait 'til I could get a mechanical one, made by a brand known for their designs & mechanical movements. If, on the flip side, you want a quartz watch, get the CasiOak. The headache of dealing with an arguably very finnicky battery replacement process turns me off immediately.
