Tudor Marine Nationale watches

Sometimes you think about your collection and it turned out far better than your wildest expectations.

Here we have three MN issued Tudor watches.

Blue 94010
1959 7928 Eagle Beak
1959 7928 Square Crown Guard

I never expected to have one, let alone three, in addition to 2 U.S. Army issued Snowflakes.

Never Quit

Very cool, love these.
More people should show their cool vintage pieces whether Rolex or not.

Fantastic collection! Interesting to me that the earlier 7928 both have radium plots with metal surrounds while the later 94010 has tritium plots with no metal surrounds. you’d think the surrounds would come later.

I will attach the Flake - the other 2 have clean backs - they did not start engraving the Tudors until a lot later.

So none of these have metal surrounds. What they have is a printing on the dial surface, technically a reverse mask, that the plot sit within. Then the radium or tritium material would be applied within that gilt circle.

The later White Gold surrounds aren't surrounds so much as cups for the material to be poured into.

Amazing!!
What a collection! It would have been some effort sourcing all the three.

I am curious have you considered adding the modern Tudor MN collaboration watches -the MN FXD and the most recent release, the MN FXD GMT?

I've debated one - What I keep consolidating around getting a black Pelagos. I do have the YEMA MN GMT

Correct me if I’m wrong but I see 2 services signed by Yves Pastre inside the caseback.
