I was wondering that also. I never got any response at all. Just "www.roleforums.com" could not be found. I even tried pinging it a couple of times. I could see the quad notation 68.xxx.xxx.xxx, but no response to the ping. I figured the server was down just had no idea it was under attack.

My first thought was that my laptop had been infected with a virus that hijacked my browser. Had to try and log on from another machine, to confirm that it was not a problem at my end.

I went out and mowed the lawn.
