Opinions needed for fair offer on a used watch...
I am considering a used Rolex from a gentleman and he asked me to make him an offer. The watch is a current year model, AD purchased, has been worn with some light scratches on the buckle typical of light wear.
I thought an offer of 65% of retail is a fair starting point, or am I way off? Mark |

I think it depends on what model.
If it's a DD you're paying too much and if it's a Daytona too little. |

You can make any offer you want.......
If he knows what he has though, it doesn't mean the offer will be accepted...... You need to know what the most that you want to pay for the watch is...

You're right about market price for a less than BNIB model. Could have sworn I've seen one in mint condition for $500 more.
