Have you checked your subdials?
Many people who own chronographs don't really use the function of the chronograph. I am one of those people and today I found out that one of my sub dials is not working. It has been over 2 hrs and my 12 hrs sub dial hasn't moved.
This isn't on a Rolex, but it does make me wonder if anyone who has a Daytona may have the same issue and not know it because they don't use the function. |

Mine are "poor man" Daytonas but all sub dials are functioning correctly. I use mine at least one a week.

I had a Tag Formula 1 chrono some years back. It would keep perfect time but the sub dials wouldn't work. I took it in for service at the local AD and it turns out the battery was dead. I want to say it had two batteries, but not sure about that. I still have the watch but it doesn't work anymore and Tag is not longer making parts. I really liked that watch, too.
