Fashionable is the kind of term that in itself implies the conclusion; i.e., that they will go out of style. I don't agree with that take generally on high end watches (and I'm including Rolex in this category). The thing about high end watches, at least in my mind, is they are so expensive most people probably buy them for the long term; not for the fashion of the moment; and thus I think classic watch sizes and designs that have stood the test of time (sorry for the pun!) will continue to appeal to most people in the market for a high end watch. The really big watches will likely be niche watches for larger people, people who just like large watches, and WIS like us who always "need" to have the latest thing.

A lot of us on this forum are the first to obsess on getting the latest thing from Rolex, and we tend to have temporary watch collections, always changing. We are fashionistas in a WIS way.
