I looked into them once and one of my major problems with Jewelers Mutual is that they only do new items and if lost by whatever means their method of replacement is to replace the piece, which doesn't help at all for vintage pieces.
But now that I reread the policy looks like they do an actual cash value. That makes me happy. Anyone dealt with them for a vintage claim or have vintage pieces insured with them? Read that policy. http://www.jewelersmutual.com/upload...provisions.pdf
