The bracelet alone is fine, just don't put it on a Rolex. Then it makes the entire watch counterfeit.

You might find the gold plating appealing after a short time :-)

Rolex considers any non Rolex parts counterfeit. Rolex will not work on any of their watches that have aftermarket pieces. They will require that all o e parts be re-installed before they will accept the watch for service or warranty work.

100%, you would have to remove the bracelet before service or have a reputable jeweler to do the service.

Not to mention that doing so lowers the re-sale value of any rolly.

I know a few people who have purchased aftermarket bands for their Rolex's, the replacement cost is fairly scary, so they grab a cheaper alternative, I for one would stick with genuine all the way

As I wouldn't put an aftermarket timing belt on my car due to warranty issues, I sure as hell wouldn't put an aftermarket band or dial on my rolly.
