Yacht-Master II - Genuine?

I just received a Watch-Master II from my fiancee's father as a gift. Everything seems right about it, except that the 6 o'clock dial displays the date rather than the dial I have seen on pictures of Yacht Masters. Are any made with this design?

The Yachtmaster II starts at $35,000.00 Dollars...

It does not have a date...

You posted this same post in the Watch Out section....Do you believe that the answer will be different this time ??
