DeepSea Price

Hello ya'll - I have been looking to purchase the DSSD for some time. Having purchased numerous pieces with my AD over the years, I was offered it brand new by my AD for 7100. This seems like an excellent price and was just hoping to get some feedback if that is the case or if I'm simply paying "market price" due to a drop in general demand of the watch. Need to commit to my AD by Tuesday mornin' so your thoughts are very much appreciated.

Thanks so much folks.

Dickey

Great Price for an AD.
Bought mine from DavidSWilliams. Give him a shout before you commit.

New from an AD? Buy it. That's an amazing price from a dealer. Used you might get around $6700 or more probably. I would check out some of the sellers around here as they typically can get great prices but hard to pass up that price from an AD.

That's one heck of a price

that is if you pay $7100 OTD. With CA 8.25% tax on top of that it isn't a real deal then. Take the watch at the point of purchase and have them ship the box to an out of state address.

$7100 out the door is a good price. I have seen LNIB V's selling for high 6's--6900 or so.

Apologies if this is off-topic guys and please forgive my ignorance, but are you guys from the USA saying that you have to pay an additional tax on top of what you pay "in the shop" as it were?

Every state in the US has a sales tax. Ca. is the highest at 8.25% --Pa is 6% where I live. You pay it at the store on top of sales price.

Bought mine retail when they first came out, which was $8,800 then, going up to $9,200 shortly thereafter.
. Sold it in mint condition for $6,600.00 when I was ready to move on. $7,100 from an AD is a good price.

Excellent price from an AD, especially if it's an out-the-door price.

That's an UNREAL price from an AD at least in South Florida. If you're serious about the Deep Sea, then I'd be all over that puppy

TX is some what the same. 8.25% most major metro areas. 6.25% in rural counties. Even then, some small towns will boost the tax rate to 8.25%. Pure greed imho

Thanks for the feedback folks - yes it is 7100 OTD with no sales tax. I wish I were wrong but it's actually NYC not CA that has the highest tax rate at 8.625% - doesen't that just plain old suck... Anyhow - I'm gonna lock it down - love that SDDS - especially at that price!

No problem - happy to enquire on what other pieces they have in stock. Just to put into prospective I sent a dignificant amount of money with them over the last 2 years and that is reflected in the price I mentioned. Thanks very much again for the good clarity you've all given - I will surely post some pics when I receive the watch.
