LV with a twist
Many thanks to Steve Mulholland for going above and beyond. I bought a bezel from Steve and when I received it I had a problem fitting it. It was just a hair smaller than my bezel ring. The bezel was meant for a 16610. I contacted Steve and he suggested I send my bezel ring to him so that he could fit one for me. Well I have taken a quick shot of the result. I cannot stress enough how pleased I am With Steve's service. Thanks Steve!! Amy and I both were shocked to see just how much a bezel change can totally transform a watch's appearance. Sorry about the fuzzy photo but I have been working 60 hour weeks and I am actually too lazy to unzip the bag to take out my good camera.

Looks great, Steve's the best. Now you have the best of both worlds for that watch.

I thought the black and green inserts were interchangeable in the 16610 or LV bezel rings???

They are normally. Steve said that occasionally there is a ring that is slightly larger than standard. I thought this really odd. I would have questioned it in depth more and been a little concerned had I not bought it from an AD.

Looks GREAT!!
Steve and a couple other guys here in the sellers section are true class acts! I doubt youd find an AD as helpful as Steve, TempoKing, or DavidSW to name a few of the good guys here.

Hmm...now you've got me worried. I recently bought an LV from someone on the forums here that included an additional black bezel insert. I hope I didn't get a bum one too (or course, I'm too nervous to change it myself and I don't trust any watchmakers in my area to not completely destroy my watch in the process).

It's gravity baby ..............
Wonder if Josh realizes that with the pearl at 6:00, gravity will make his wrist droop.

Great idea, Josh. Nice to have those options when you feel like something a little different.
And Steve is great to work with. dP

Thanks everyone. It is almost the same as getting a new Sub IMO. I keep looking down at my wrist thinking how much more the LV "pops" out at me with a black insert. simple cosmetic changes are amazing.

One of the few mods for which I have always approved. The black looks great with the maxi-dial IMHO!
