Off To See The Wizard...

Or RSC NY. I had my 16610 serviced by Beverly Hills last year. It ran at +1 up until last week, when I noticed it started to run at +8 No, I didn't drop it and I wasn't around any magnets. Most likely, just a regulation.

I was told that sometimes the hairsprings sometimes "kink" and this could be a cause of the problem. I was also told it could be due to a bit too much oil which could cause a coil to stick to another.

Thank you Mike...again

Good thing I have about six weeks left on the warranty

I'll keep you all posted on the progress.

I'm sure you'll have that baby back in no time working just fine, Paulie!

Good news with the six weeks remaining on the warranty.

Pop a note in with the watch and tell them to fit a Duracell this time.

Here's a question that I don't recall being asked before. If it has, then my apologies.

Seeing how the watch will be worked on, will it come back with a one year warranty from now?

Whilst it would be nice buddy, it's a no on that one.

You would have a good case if the watch failed within a couple of months of it's return I reckon.

Paul, I do remember your post from the last year.
If it had to happen this is the great timing as you still have warranty left.
I'm sure it will come back looking like brand new again.
Good luck.
