I have made comments that were misunderstood and they were in fun. Most TRF members know me and I do not want to flame anyone.

Some of us hard core TRF members know each other and do not get offended by each others comments, we know they are fun.

Some other TRF members see them as being offencive and do not look at the guy who is posting them. We are to have fun and not flame others, however if someone really has a problem they should PM the poster and just be nice and ask if a problem exists.

Then you have people who are looking for a fight and that is just wrong.

It looks like I missed another interesting thread last night.

For anyone late comers joining this tread

Please; let me say; "Welcome" to the Dog Chasing thread. Everything you ever wanted to know about Dog Chasing and possibly more.

For your ready convenience here is a useful Amazon link:

"Stop!" How to control predatory chasing in dogs
David Ryan CCAB (Author)
No customer reviews yet. Be the first.
Price: $19.95 & eligible for free shipping with Amazon Prime

Unrelated to the Dog Chasing thread but of personal paramount interest is my concern for a certain balding, toothy, smiling, Rolex lover on those little islands just across the bay from Australia. By way of apology, let me just state what my RAF pilot pals often remind me; if you can't take a joke you shouldn't have joined.

Please copy me on any funeral announcements coming out of New Zealand.

Here in the states, Railroaders can retire if they are 60 years old, and have at least 30 years of service. I have 41 years in right now, but won't be 60 until July. So I guess it's a case of not getting born soon enough for me. Railroad Retirement is a solvent system, and it was what Social Security was patterened after in the early 1930's.

OK! SAR can stand down

Attention all Search and Rescue units; JJ has been found.
Cancel your search and return to base.

Whew, there for a minute I thought JJ failed to see my humor, albeit pathetic.

OK to resume Dog Chase & Retirement thread .

Hahahaha! My name says it all! Well, actually, I took that name after a concert with The Boss also known as Bruce Springsteen . His last song was "Dream baby, dream"

How are you doing with the essays/tests? Finished the 90 yet?

I've finished most of them (maybe 10 more to grade) and I'm quite pleased with the results! The majority of them did an awesome job. MLA format is still lacking (margins and citing material, format errors) but...for the most part, they did a very good job.

I make it only 3 old [email protected] far

JJ tried to muscle in with that red herring about his pension. Sorry. No sale.

It's lonely out here folks.

I almost started this thread with age 70.

Like I said in the thread starter; I have the impression the demographic here looks pretty young to us old codgers.

Finally, at age 74 in appears I'm in a class by myself. A life long ambition.

Would the moderators kindly consider creating a special section just for old dawgs.
