I was really excited to see the original post in this thread but now Im a bit dissapointed. Is there any hope we may actually see the release of the super jubilee on the DJII? This, along with more dial options, is what I am hoping for from Basel this year.

I have to agree with JJ. That is 110% the 36mm DateJust. I will bet any amount of money on it.

I think JJ is right, but either way, he's better with the E2 on Jubilee! He's one of only a couple handful in the WHOLE WORLD with that combination!

my thoughts....
Im pretty sure the watch I tried on was the large size DJ. I say this because I remember that the dial looked noticeably larger than my SD. However, I rarely try on watches that arent divers watches, so its possible that it was the smaller datejust. had I known that I was holding a unicorn I would have shot some pics of it with my blackberry. I am certain that the watch I held was on a jubilee and the center three rows of links were solid. It was also two-tone and the dial was matte black. I remember the dial being matte because it looked rather funny on a datejust (no offense to anyone with this reference).
Also, Ive seen pics of the superjubilee posted on this forum; in post related to the juby on the gmtIIc. Why all the disbelief about the large datejust coming with a solid link jubilee? |

Well... if they were releasing that, they would probably wait till March 18.
