How can this be "100% Original" when the movement# n Rotor blade don't match up..??
Err buddies...this so called "100% Original Rolex" 1675 with Pointy Crown Guards...
listed by the eBay PowerSeller...is misrepresented... http://cgi.ebay.com/1961-Rolex-GMT-M...item45f041c1a4 1. Movement# on Cal.1565(1560) movement don't match with the Chronometer Certification paper provided... D39504(on movement) vs. 44347(on paper)... 2. Original Cal.1565(1560) movement should have "Butterfly" Rotor... the one on the watch movement...is NOT. So how can the Seller claims the watch package is 100% Original Rolex...n un-restored...??? |

Sharp
Well buddy Orchi,
Jack thinks the rotor could've been changed in service, that was rather common to do the last decades in Jack's opinion. Jack thinks you are completely right about the movement serial, it makes the paperwork worthless and thus the watch a Franken. When the papers "disappear" nobody knows. Greetings Jack Ps. I was just trying to write like you, but it's not my style, I admire your knowledge Orchi |

Great catch buddy Orchi.....
Watch is certainly not 100% original as stated (though still a nice piece). |

The entire movement could have been replaced by Rolex during a service. Rolex doesn't care about keeping a watch original to the watch just original Rolex in like new condition when returned.
In reality one could get a watch with 100% different parts from Rolex after many years of servicing. |
