I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and DATEJUST as we've been lurking around for some time, and made few post before. You are all a great bunch of guys (and girls!) and it's a pleasure to take a few minutes a day to see what's going on here.

DATEJUST has been with me for 2 years now, and enjoy it everyday as it's my only watch (aside from a Swatch that my wife wears, and a Swiss Army that's somewhere in a drawer).

Here is mine:

Once my oldest daughter saw a photo of Lindsey Vonn wearing the same watch, she borrowed it and wears it every day.

This Datejust is one of my favorite watches. It is dignified, yet rugged. I love the understated stick dial, and the Super Jubilee bracelet is terrific.

Those are all great photos of one of my favorite Rolex designs guys!!

I have never considered owning one (8" wrist made it look too small) until the 41mm DJ II came out and then the one I really wanted had what I consider a rather undesirable design flaw. That unsightly white stick at the 9. It would be in my winder if it had a beautiful anniversary green IX instead.

Perhaps Rolex will reconsider or I will soften up, but neither have happened yet.

maybe it's supposed to balance somewhat with the date window? dunno. if you look just at the rectangle at the 9 spot, it's true that it looks out of place.

Beautiful aesthetics and design on the DJ, but my AD lady still feels the watch looks kinda "funny" on my wrist!!

If only Rolex would pump it up to the PERFECT 39 mm dress size!!

I agree. I'm so used to wearing large oversized watches...still getting used to the 36mm size. It is comfortable!
