Icon4 Need help on Yachtmaster

Hi,

I am new to Rolex and need your help!

I just bought a Mid size Yachtmaster from E-bay. It is a 2003 model.
I see a triple lock for crown on a pamphlet that came with the watch, but the watch doesn't have the triple lock in green.

Does anyone know if the 2003 model comes with the green triple lock?

I am going to take it to an appraiser this weekend, but I am very anxious to know if it is authentic.

What is best a custom Rolex or a Rolex that is stuck in custom?

Buy a professional camera and you´re a professional
photographer, buy a flute and you own a flute.

Welcome to TRF.

With the YM, only the full size 40 mm comes with a TRIPLOCK crown.

The mid-size 35 mm and ladies 29 mm both come with the TWINLOCK crowns.

Some pics will help us identify the authenticity of the watch.

You lost me too with the "green" bit!!

JJ

Picture?

( or a link to the auction)

Does your crown have a single line under the logo or 3 dots?

Actually, the triplock couldn't even fit that case...

The web site below states that some Rolex uses triplelock seal around crown.
On the pamphlet came with the watch there is a picture of the seal in green.

I may be just paranoid on buying from e-bay, but I have some bad experiences.

Thank you all for your advise!

I think I being paranoid. The crown has a single line.

Here's the link for my watch:

My husband wanted me to buy a brand new one, but I couldn't bring myself to spend that much money. I am happy with a nice used Rolex.

Your pamphlet is probably a generic booklet and is showing the Triplock Crown and seal on the full size 40mm model..........

Post the link and let us look at the actual watch.

The qualitytyme site is way out of date when it comes to fakes.

That watch looks real to me. However, it looks a bit beat up and from what I can see there is at least one screw in the bracelet that appears to be sticking out.

The bracelet looks stretched out a bit too.

The seller has a lot of positive feedback so I doubt it's a fake. The condition is another factor and you will only know once you receive it.

It should have a double lock crown.

Good luck
