Rolex feel good factor ?
Hi, I am not joking but even when I am down but not, I still get a buzz when I see an item of beauty on my wrist. Normally at work or play I am only concerned with the time. However when I look carefully at it when I am in problem I feel that a friend is here to support me. Morally no but perhaps spiritually. Once I woke up late for an important business meeting and was certain to get a harsh comment, the GMT II coke on my wrist made me happy to face the music. Do you feel the same way

I too enjoy my Rolex watches and other toys such as knives and fountain pens. These are all hobbies to me as I also collect American early copper one cent pieces and colonial coins. But with the watches, knives and writing instruments I use them everyday and do get pleasure from their intended purpose.....

It's a bit like driving a Mercedes Benz at the end of a sh*tty day at work.
You see that three pointed star out front & think "Hey..... maybe life's not so bad after all".

The best feeling for me is when my wife & I put the kids to sleep, I strap a watch on each arm while we watch our evening shows before retiring for the night. The look on her face is precious.

No actually it's funny, I feel better wearing something of pure quality than something with a larger brandname. At a certain point I felt better wearing my SMP than my sub. (Can't explain why)
I think I have some sort of superiority complex. |

Me too. I think about all the years I wanted one and look down and feel proud of my accomplishments.
