Again, beautiful!
Are you going to put a riveted band on it, or are you going to wear it on a NATO? |

Can't wait for her to arrive! I'm actually in the library right now waiting for the post office to open so I can mail my trade package off to it's new owner. It's a sad mixed feelings sorta day....Actually wearing a Rotary Elite on my wrist, don't really like it, it looks like a girlie watch.. |

The meters first dials are older than the feet first dials. I am not sure when they changed, (late 60's??).
The reason that they changed to feet first, unconfirmed rumour, is that the US/UK market which was then a large part of the Rolex market was of course still using imperial not metric measurements. It would be good if anyone can confirm this or not. |

Well, it's official....My babies are in the post. God I hate mailing anything, I actually was so nervous mailing these two that I was almost shaking at the counter. Anyway, they went the safest means, USPS Priority Registered Mail, under lock and key 24/7 but damn they sure are S L O W............

Yay!!!! Aelvin just let me know that my 5513 is on it's way! He was kind enough to even give me some nice packing pics to show me how nice he packed it...
He was nice enough to include a tube of Polywash! |
