hollow links on V series YM?

I just picked up my TT V-series YM. The center gold links are hollow (I can see right through them when I look at the side of the band, except the very first link connected to the face.) I was told this watch would have the new "solid link" band. Does Rolex make a TT yachtmaster with solid gold center links? Will this band eventually stretch out?

Thanks!

Hi and welcome to TRF.

The TT YM's still come with HOLLOW centre gold links. Only the SS/Pt. YM has solid centre STEEL links.

The YM-II, however, comes with all solid links.

Don't worry, the links may be hollow, but they are still very strong and will not stretch if the watch is not worn too loose or too tight..........but just right!!

Good luck and congrats. Post some pics when you can.

JJ
