I'm going to have to wait an extra month, but to me it's worth it.

BTW, Hi! I don't see myself posting much on this testosterone-ridden forum (ha!) but I have been learning a lot about Rolexes here.

Please don't let the waffling and chest beating refraining you from posting here.

We love the viewpoint of the ladies and if/when the knuckle draggers start any misogyny it gives us mods the opportunity to "trim the herd".

I have always found it odd that people have no problem asking me how much my watches are. They don't ask about clothes, rings, bracelets, hats, cars, food etc (you get my point) but a Rolex = "how much is that".

I used to say "it's more than you think...but much less then the Dealer wanted" :-)

The only way to fix this is don't tell them, prices are pretty easy to figure out if they are that interested in your business. At least I make them do the leg work now and take five minutes to find out how much it is.

That must be the truth. The other night some friends and I grabbed some dinner, and then made a trip to a casino to celebrate their college graduation. They always ask me if i can spot and nice watches in the crowd, (being that im the only self proclaimed WIS in the group) and of couse i found a few DD's, Subs, Datejust's ect. After i few drinks i finally gave in and took off my Gmt and allowed by buddy to sport it for a few minutes.

The result was quite funny. While i stood back i watched him approach a few of the people wearing rolex's, and in the most obvously deliberate manner making it know that he wanted them to notice his(my) rolex on his wrist.

It was all in good fun, and i got a laugh out of him, and his unsuspecting victims reactions to his showman ship.
