Money refunded and watch is now enroute to Rikki. Wow, that was a rough three months with a bum watch. It will be in good hands.

sorry to see the mishaps after taking the watch in for service. Send it to RSC.

i'd change the brakes/rotors on my dd honda civic, but will take my benz in for service since it has SBS. Some things need to be done by the dealer and not by someone else.

I am sorry that your experience with an independent was not good, but I would not sour on them. A good independent can do as good a job as RSC.

Rikki received received the watch today. He looked it over,n said it had dust and lint inside and it needed a few parts above the regular overhaul. Obviously, the other watchmaker did a crappy job and missed over some things. He will get started on the watch on Monday. If all goes well,n he could ship it out by the end of next week and I will have it back the following week.

Got an email from Rikki this morning. Watch is ready and was mailed USPS registered this morning. I'll probably receive it by Wednesday. Total turnaround time including shipping to and from is about 2 weeks. Good stuff I'll report back when I receive the watch.

Received the watch today. It looks frigging brand new. Rik did a great job finishing the case and bracelet back to a factory finish. The watch is running great so far. Just over two weeks door to door. Not bad, eh? I HIGHLY recommend Rik Dietel of Time Care Inc
