Daytona 16523 is it ok to leave all dials running?

I hadnt thought much about this but I always have my large second hand sweeping which of course runs all sub dials. is this bad for the watch?

You can leave them all running-not sure why you would want to but it will not hurt the watch from what I know --or think. Any other opinions--I would also be interested in hearing.

The watch is not made for that. All parts that is used for the timing hand is not lubricated so it's not made to be
running all the time. So my advise it to stop it.

What is best a custom Rolex or a Rolex that is stuck in custom?

Buy a professional camera and you´re a professional
photographer, buy a flute and you own a flute.

I wouldn't do it, just because. I have no concrete reason why, I just wouldn't.

I figure I use the Chrono function on my Speedmaster three times a week in the gym to time workouts and rest periods, that is good enough. I dont leave it running 24 hours a day however. I know people who have, and never had a problem, but a Speedy is a completely different watch too.

Im curious to see what others think regarding this issue.

I would suggest not to leave the chrono running for three reasons;
1) The power reserve is reduced
2) There are (as Jocke rightly said) parts of the chronograph, namely the minute counter that are not oiled and therefore are subject to more friction than they are designed to take, potentially causing problems sooner than normal.
3) When the chrono is running, the amplitude drops, and when the amplitude drops, there is the potential for the watch's rate to suffer.

If you are happy with a high friction, shorter power reserve, daytona which gains more than it should, then leave the chronograph running.
