What to Buy - Milgauss or Sub

Cool thanks for helping me decide - I think you have talked me into, what I was leaning towards all along.

It will actually be my second Rolex, I have had a Gold/Stainless Datejust for 10 yrs, but, now that I am not really in the office anymore, it does not get much wear time as I feel like I am too rough for it..

I am based in Shenzhen across the border from Hong Kong, so I will go browse around a bit this week $4800 is is sort of the going rate (state side), but how much up or down does that change with age?

Is there a sweet spot I should be looking for age/price wise, you cannot spit without hitting a 7-11, Starbucks or Rolex AD in Hong Kong so I am hoping I have a good bit of selection, but, Chinese do not like to buy used watches, as they think its bad luck so we will see what I can hunt down.
