What's the consensus on Hublot?

I've really been eyeing the all Black Big Bang from Hublot. The new in-house Unico movement looks pretty sexy with the full balance bridge. It also appears they've bootlegged microstella from Rolex. The modular escapement piques the curiosity as well.

Anyhoo, I was curious to get an outside opinion on Hublot, their movements and simply put, if it's a worthy investment.

They are growing on me :-)

To be honest, a few years ago I really did not like them. They tried too much to be something like the AP ROO.
But only a fool doesn't change his mind
I did not own one yet but I think I will in the future.
The only problem I see is their price. Years ago they were cheaper, today a lot of them sell for the same price as an AP ROO and in that case I would go for the AP

I like the look of them, but they are too new money bling bling to me. Look very nice yes, but for the money there are many other watches I would go for instead.
