the last batch was 2004.. and at first it was thoguh to be a very small tight batch of mostly subs and a few dwellers done for henry delauze.... these turned out to be creeping out a bit more .. and miore so the market is not hugely interested in them...
how much is comex sub is a very expansive question... cheapest you'd get is one of the 16610 from 97 ... as a loose watch you'd maybe get it down to £15-20k, maybe the same for a non logo dial 5513 with no issue numbers... but most wont touch the later sapphire watches unless they are full sets. the watches go up as they get older and rarer, and certainly jump for plastic glass... provenance from the diver also adds on to the price, but so do lots of other small nuances you'd better understand before getting the cheque book out. top of the tree for standard watches in cost terms is a 'big number' a 5514 logo dialed watch £70k is about the norm from a dealer but most are traded privately.. but its all subjective. if you want to jump up from there you go to the mission watches, watches used on specific comex deep dives, or maybe something special like my friend Rogers ' bullion' watch - think a good six figures . http://www.network54.com/Forum/20759...dinburgh+1942- |

Just saw a couple on VRF and TZ selling for between 29 - 35k. Not completely unattainable.
