I certainly enjoy the looks of the King Scuba. Impressive dial aesthetics and quite reasonably priced I understand. Anything negative about it?

Hi Maxseven...if you're interested in Hamilton, you should try one on. Mine had a $475 MSRP, but got it for $325, which I though was a decent discount. If you get the automatic w/ ETA movement, you'll pay a little more, but the dial selections are identical with the quartz version.

Pluses: Overall quality, dial details, great bracelet, hefty but well-balanced on wrist, boxes and manuals which almost put Rolex to shame, etc. I guess big brother (Swatch) is monitoring Hamilton very carefully.

Minuses: No AR coating if you like to take pictures of your watches. Lume is kinda lame, but I charge it up with a bright CFL, and can still read the time in the morning. Clasp has only one adjustment hole, but my Rolex has an Easy Link which only adjusts about the same amount.

Hope that helps, and don't forget to feed the addiction...

It sure does - thank you. I'm thinking I'll pick up the King Scuba Auto or the Jazzmaster Maestro Auto.

The Maestro is a very nice watch, but at 45mm, it will probably not look good on my wrist. I like the 41mm King Scuba's size, and as you can see in my pic, it works well with my wrist. Btw, I have some fine autos so I'm very happy with my Hamilton quartz. I use it to check the accuracy of my Rolexes.

Sugoi!

There is a lot going on there. I like it. I have a Hamilton Ventura...First "nice watch" i.e. > $400 I ever purchased. That was before I discovered automatics / Rolex of course.
