Just wondering which way you will take

After looking at my brother's new SS daytona, it got me thinking in a way. I have GMT iic and Sub 16610 LV which altogether worth similar to a daytona. I never regretted my decision purchasing these 2 beautiful watches as I wasn't too interested in a daytona anyway previously. I picked GMT as I want a watch that can show me up to 3 time zone, I never have GMT watch in any way before, and picked Sub as it is one of the most recognized iconic watch in the world (LV because I like the green thing).

Having said that, I realize that SS daytona is grail watch for some, and the waiting list at the AD may take awhile so some people will put a lot of effort just to get it.

I'd like to know general consensus of what you may think about this.
Which one you guys prefer:
1. a SS GMT and a SS Sub
2. SS Daytona

Some people may say I'm stupid that I prefer a GMT and a Sub.... but, really I can't justify losing those 2 watch to get a daytona IMO, and also the date is a plus for me.

Thanks for reading.

I'd go for the GMT IIc and the Sub, as I really like having the date and wouldn't want to be completely without a date. I could live without a date on half my watches but not all of them. I only recently became interested in Daytonas myself. For me though I'm going to have to wait a little over 9 year until I turn 40. My wife will buy me a Daytona for my 40th birthday.

I'd keep the two you have now. Better to have 2 than 1. Save up for the Daytona.

I'll take the two over the Daytona any day of the week! That's not even a debate IMHO!

I like the Daytona in addition to your watches, but not at the expense of a Sub and GMT.

Tough one!!

I want a GMTIIC and a Daytona. Each time I get a watch I say I am saving half the cost of a Daytona...but I am thankful for the variety I have :-)

I first bought a Daytona and a year later an LV. All great watches. For the office I like the Daytona but the LV is just a great watch for any occasion as well.

I'd go with the Sub/GMT, but then again, going for the grail is always the right answer so if the Daytona is your grail...

The Daytona is nice, but having a GMT IIc and a Sub LV is even better.

Normally, having two is better than one, but you're talking about daytona. For me, once I bought the daytona, my watch bug stopped. It's really that satisfying.

I'd choose GMT & Sub as they have the functions that I need especially the date, and there are 2 of them. Daytona to add to the collection if finance permits.

no, you are not stupid at all - in fact, it is a very smart move. 2 totally different watches
then again, if you have the Daytona as well, you wll have 3 very different Rolex watches.

(yes, i know im not helping here... )
