Being a new Turn-O-Graph owner, I will have to put my vote in for it. Dressy enough to wear with a suit, sporty looking with the white dial and red accents, timing bezel, so you can even dive with it. The Submariner was an offshoot of the Turn-O-Graph line.

I like my Sub LV because it looks classy with my suit and you can wear it doing anything, this thing is a tank!

18Kt Daytona. Either black dial with gold subs or gold dial with black subs.

For your question, The DJ, especially in SS. My personal favorite - the SS GMT Master IIc.

If i had to pick just one, it would be the Explorer. Dresses up and down, less complication without a date, very robust, not too blingy. If a date was needed, then an SS DJ for the same reasons.

Either a SS Sub, though not a fan of the black, or a SS or TT DJ. Oh crap, I picked 2!

I think the TT Sub with the Silver/Slate Serti dial is a nice all around watch.

Maybe a pre-ceramic GMT because you can change the bezels for different looks. So if you only have one Rolex, you can change things up a little when you get bored.

The current SS GMT-Master IIc. Conservative appearance, yet very elegant, and has the utility/tool factor, so one can play with the 24-hour hand (setting different time-zones), rotate the bezel, all during a boring meeting, wedding reception or similar yawn.

I went with a gold Omega Aqua Terra 39.2 on strap for formal, and will likely go back to a TT GMT II C for general use, but that's two watches, and doesn't meet the parameters of the question. |

He needs to wear his Patek, or Day-Date, drive his Porsche, and dress in Armani or Brioni to meet his clients. What client wants to go to a poor lawyer? Just my $0.02.
