Incoming!!!!
OK
I did it again. I SWORE I was only selling things, no trades and no purchases till the honeymoon in Switzerland Well that didn't work, someone contacted me with a trade option on my Bell & Ross BR03 Phantom that involved one of the few watches that could sway me... So it will be here Wednesday sometime. I shipped off the B&R and did a small $ transfer today and they are shipping tomorrow morning. So I guess you all will just have to wait till Thur to see what I got and no its not an AP :( Heck, I think I have only seen one or two of them ever even here on TRF! I SOOOO wish it would be here tomorrow but by the time I got things done on my end and with his job it was too late for him to ship today but Im not worried he has great refs on multiple boards.

Here it is.
Linde Werdelin DLC Oktopus Dive watch. LE of 88 watches. 46 mm but wears even better than a Panerai on small wrists. Only had it one for about 10 minutes but it really feels good. The lume is STELLAR on this bad boy!

Really it is not that massive I promise you.
It looks better on my wrist than my Panerai 233 did. Bad pic angle, bad photographer etc. Its AMAZING how good it feels on the wrist. I will be taking this and My Exp II white face to Switzerland on the honeymoon

Anyway its different and I hope you enjoy it.

Its the workhorse ETA 2892-A2, some of the more limited pieces use a Frederic Piguet.
I am very partial to ETA (except with a company like Rolex) as anyone can fix them anywhere in the world. The watch also comes in Ti and Rose Gold. The Rose Gold model has a moon phase on it and is limited to 29 pieces (the DLC and Ti are each 88) there is also a Tattoo version which is 29 pieces as well. Linde Wedelin makes AMAZING computers which you can snap right on the wrist one is a full dive computer the other is an AMAZING tool for skiing. The owners of the Co are all outdoor people and watch nuts so they wanted a mechanical watch which still could be used as a sports instrument for those who know a GShock or other digital may be the smartest choice but still can't part with out mechanical watches so with LW you have both!!! The watch wears GREAT! It feels like its a part of my wrist, the case is VERY well balanced and I can't wait to get a new strap to play with their strap change system. I LOVE the bezel, I actually think its a stronger mechanism than the DSSD and thats a GREAT bezel! In this day and age James Bond should wear a LW!!!! I can't decide if this one is going to be named "Darth Vader" or "The Dark Knight" I really cant express how surprised how much I like this watch! I really was uncertain when I acquired it as Id never seen one in person but I took a chance. Here are some pics, I wish I could claim I took them but they are pics of my watch from the collector I worked with on this one.
