Dial looks like an old refinish. I would strongly suggest to avoid any Rolex with a refinished dial, as that severely affects value (unless you can buy very low and it at least looks decent).

Unfortunately, unlike some other, more common models, to find a service or replacement dial for a 6105 would be extremely difficult.

The dial has most defintley been refinished in the past, as Adam said.

I guess only worth it if you had a NOS dial correct for this model, just waiting in hand...The case seems to be in nice shape, and it seems to be in pink gold (always more desirable).

I would wait for another. Anyway, didn't you just buy that nice 1803?

Hi, Adam:

ya, the 1803 is one of my 'dream' watch, but not the 'only'

in fact, having seems many vintage pieces, I would say (at least for now), I am very much attracted to:
* 1803
* 6105
* GMT with matte dial

of course, they will definitely be other 'even nicer' vintage that may just make me change my mind

but I guess, end of day, I will probably keep either 2 or 3 pieces, and enjoy fliping them as daily wear.

you are always very helpful and precise in your advice, many thks !

so for now, this has the most (or all) of the wirst time

If everything were original and correct, that wouldn't be an outlandish price. These are rare in 18K. The refinished dial may devalue it by as much as 40%.

This is what the 6105 should look like - sorry it's not a closer shot...

Adam C., that's really gorgeous. Looks unpolished! I love the strap as well.

I notice there are at least 2 versions of 6105 dials, one printed with word DateJust and one without
