Hello...Questions about a Sub 16613
Greetings everyone. My first post here…
I am in the market for a blue or black TT Sub. I saw a ‘Y’ series watch today, it comes with a box and papers. I used to own a ‘P’ sub and I know how the warrantee certificate looks like, but this certificate looked different. Can someone please tell me when did the certificate changed to the new style? What kind of watermarks should it have? Lastly, have many links should each side of the bracelet have? Thanks a lot. |

Not sure about the watermarks on the Certificate. Since the last few years, Rolex have been dishing out Plastic Warranty Cards and have dispensed with the Paper Certificate. As for the no. of links........a complete watch straight out of the box should have..... On the '12' side - 9 full links + 1 FLAT link marked "S". On the '6' side - 4½ links. |

The old paper warranty is also different if it is an international or a USA original import.......

Thank you all for your answers!
One other questions that I forgot to ask- as I was wounding this watch, it was making a loud zzzz zzzzz zzzz sound. As I remember, when I wound my old sub, it was almost soundless. Is this something to be concerned about? Thanks again. |
