Price increase/decrease in AUS

I just got off the phone with one of two ADs in Perth(will check the other Friday) about the possible discontinued sub ND. And we got onto the price increase which is effective from the 1st October not many changes that were noted the ss daytona went from 13195aud to 13325aud
Subc/lv no change the
sub nd went up by $150 but crazily the airkings and ladies TT dj went down??
The airking was 6125aud down increadibly to 5450aud
Has anyone else heard of price dropping?? I'm just amazed that this happend, but if rolex were increasing there prices to make them 'globally the same' then it sort of makes fence as AUD is so strong ATM and we have always been 'more expensive' to buy rolex from compared with USA and HK ect.
Thought you'd want to know :)

Thanks for the info, although $5500 for a Airking is ridiculous. Do you happen to know the prices of any other models? specifically the Exp II, Sub date and GMT?

yeah i posted it on the other thread 14060m,
basically they sold one last week orderd 2 more got them in yesterday and have one of those put aside already, so they are ordering another one as well.
they like to have a few on hand they "sell a few a year" what ever that means but its def not being discontinued anytime soon.
fwiw they have a 4.5 year waiting list on SS daytona i told them to stick it my other AD can get me one in less than 6 months :P

As I recall, Rolex prices on a few TT and all gold models decreased slightly in Canada in 2005 or so.........

I know the local AD in Brisbane varies up and down with currency flux, but right now, the only sane thing to do in Australia is to hit up the US based guys like davidsw and Oscar while their dollar is cheap as monopoly money.

Right now the price of a new Daytona off TRF BNIB is 40% of what my older brother paid for his at an AD 3 or so years ago, no joke.

Wow, the price of the SS Daytona is now roughly the same as in China. Guess I won't be holidaying in Sydney this year...
