Look what I found looking back at me.
There I was, minding my own business, making pumpkin pancakes for my kids, and ... Flip ... WHAM, there he is!
Is it Jesus? ... No, I don't think so... It was pretty funny. I think the pumpkin's ghost was haunting the batter. I ate that one, just to be safe.

Im not sure what is more interesting the face on the pancake or the pumpkin pancake itself. I have never heard of a pumpkin pancake.

Yeah, it's a bit scratched. Maybe time for a new one? I wonder if the watch restorers could recoat it for me?
Not a fake though. It's a real manifestation of a pumpkin ghost haunting my batter. I wish it was a Jesus, that would have gone straight to Ebay! No butter, no maple syrup, vacuum seal and show me the money, nutter! Fortunately it didn't choose to continue to haunt my pan, it was a one time only. Many eggbeater omelets and pancakes later, he seems to be gone.

Being English, pumpkin pie is alien to us. It doesn't sound that nice, can't see it being a must eat.

Pumpkin has a flavor, it's ok, not powerful. It's mostly spices and sugar. I don't like pumpkin pie much either, but it's naturally moist, so less butter and/or oil is needed. That's nice.
I do like the pancakes. They are a commercial mix, so the ghost could have come from any number of pumpkin patches. Do you think I should have the paranormal investigators come and check out my kitchen? I actually know someone in TAPS and another local guy who really believes and has probably $100k in equipment. He actually left his local group because the other guys were BS artists and not fully committed.
