Watch with bad karma
You all may think I am crazy for saying this, and I may well be. But, has anyone ever bought a watch and have nothing but bad things happen every time you wear it? I recently bought a used two tone sub mariner from a very trusted friend of mine, who is also a certified Rolex watchmaker. This watch is fine as long as it is on my watch winder. The minute I put it on, bad things happen to me, I usually get into some sort of argument with people I never argue with. I fell one time while wearing it and broke my back in three places. Then, as soon as I take it off, these things stop happening. I know watches are just things, and they have no spirit but I am seriously thinking of selling this damn watch. I never have any problems while wearing any of the new watches I bought, only this used one. Anyone ever hear of this before.

If your watch is associated with bad things happening in your life then I would sell it and buy a different piece. When you think about your watch it should be tied to great moments in your life

Could it be that you're subconsciously making these thing happen yourself, because you don't think you're worthy of such a fine timepiece?

You could try having the watch blessed by a Buddhist monk. <– Not joking here.
I prefer Thai Buddhist monks myself. If that does not work I would sell the watch.

This would not be a good watch for a skydiver or an alligator wrestler.

Buddhist Monks sit. That is what they do. As I think of it, that is what Buddhas do. Doo wop. Doo. I am seriously thinking of selling it. I don't know, maybe the person who had it before me was in an accident or got killed or something. At any rate, life is way too short for me to put up with these kinds of things happening to me associated with this watch. Thanks for the responses.

You may want to put that in the "Watch Out" section.

Do what makes you happy, but I think it's all just happenstance.
You would not believe all the bad things that have happened to me in my life or the close calls I've had with death. I've never once thought to blame an inanimate object for the incident, at least not after I regained my presence of mind. But let's assume momentarily that the watch does have some kind of curse and that whoever has possession of it will invariably have some series of catastrophes befall that person. To whom would you choose to sell it?

If you feel your watch has bad karma... well, move it on and get another one. Hopefully the buyer will have better luck and you can get one that you're happier with. Life's too short.
