SubC bracelet/clasp adjustments
For the SubC links and glidelock clasp, will a 1.6mm size screwdriver take care of link removal and all adjustments to the clasp?
...or will I need additional screwdriver sizes/tools? Thanks! |

not too sure about the clasp, but I used a 1.4mm screwdriver (a bit too small actually) and I was able to remove/add the links.
1.6mm shld be just fine for the links. |

I have a Bergeon 1.6mm if you file the end down just a tad it seats perfect, I learnt the hard way and chewed up one of my screw heads or if you can get one the driver from the SD tool kit is perfect fit straight away !
Also on a side note with my Sub-C there are three different screw sizes ! The bracelet to clasp screws are the shortest then you haven the normal full link screws and lastly the screw in the half link is between these ! I found this out as the normal bacelet screws stuck out a tiny bit when I got mixed up and put one in the half link ! I say in my Sub-C as my AD kindly sent me some replacement screws which now seat a tiny bit recessed in the bracelet so will fit both the bracelet and half link ! Should really supply pics but finally got my watch sitting right and loctite the screw threads. Sam |

When you talk about "3 different screw sizes", I guess you're talking about their lengths and not about their screw heads? Thanks - JJ |

You could either look on ebay or, better still, contact someone like Steve Mulholland or maybe even Oscar (Bodybum) who are pretty good with Rolex spares. I was given this by a friend and it's a genuine one from the SD kit. Don't ask me how my friend got it!! Good luck in finding one, it's one hell of an asset. Sadly, it's too big for the men's Jubilee bracelet, nor will it fit any of the ladies models. JJ PS: SD = Sea-Dweller 2100 is the reference part no. for this screwdriver. |

Or as JJ has shown the driver supplied with the SD tool kit is GTG straight out the box. Obviously the Bergeon will work fine but as it doesn't seat properly it can be prone to slipping and fouling the screw head ! I learnt from experience :-( Sam |

Nope, Sea Dweller. The screwdriver comes with the watch.
