Wow, it really looks great. I can't help you with the prices, but I'm sure it's worth more than a regular yellow gold Datejust with the original dial+hands.

You sir, are a lucky man! Do not sell that watch. It is a great example of an early DateJust. As in value, about $10,000 to $12,000 I believe, since it is pink gold. Guys correct me if I am wrong!

Enjoy wearing it!

Regular yellow gold Datejusts like that regularly go from about $7,000 to $8,500. Since yours is pink gold, the value will increase since it is rarer. Never sell something like that. Enjoy it

Leave it, remember if you polish you take out some of the gold as well.

it is fairly deep and runs about 3/4 inch across. i have taken out worse but with the value of the watch maybe i should just leave it.

Leave it. You will remove gold and that is not a good thing.

Yeah, I think it would just be better. I saw a similar early Datejust in yellow gold going for 8k the other day, so I think it will be worth around there or even more.

Amazing what some people scrap. Keep an eye out for the early Daytonas, they are worth a lot.

i really do not hang out at recyclers but maybe i should. i would love to find an early daytona but i think i used up all of my good luck for the year.
