Watches without papers are cheaper, but in the long run the papers will add significant value to a complete set. So opt out if you are never going to sell seems logical.

This parallel's the debate on running Chevron fuels in your car for resale... Legit sellers look, sound and are.. legit. I purchased my Exp II without papers, box only, and the seller was legit and the watch checked out 100%. Been a good watch for almost 10 years. I sold my mom'd DJ and had papers and box and the buyer could care less.. It was a 1975 model and had been serviced 4 times in it's life, and needed another servicing.. And band.
