Just Returned...

From Vegas. Had a great time. However, it was the first time I didn't purchase anything. Nothing. This was because I was on a mission to buy a single piece, one that nobody there was going to slang. No, it wasn't a PAM.

I walked into at least 10 AD's and was more than blunt. They said "No." So I tried on a Speedy, a 305, 233, ROO.....etc. Drool.

But seriously. If I am willing and able (obviously) , why not sell me what I'm looking for... Now.

Still it was a much needed and relaxing vacation....:c lap:

So you gonna tell us what this 'single piece' is?

Oh, and welcome back, B!

I'm heading out to Vegas on Tuesday. I'm not planning to buy anything, just gamble and eat fabulous food and relax! Vegas is the only place I can go where it's virtually impossible to worry about work or regular life. I never know what time it is or what day it is and I don't even care.

Do tell what the piece was that you were seeking!

SS White dial Daytona is what I attempted to get. There were a few associates that truly seemed like they would have sold it to me, but they didn't have one. Then there were others that just lied and said they don't....but I called them out.

They didn't want to sell it to you because of price? Or because you weren't a "special customer"? I don't understand.

Ehhh not surprised you didn't find it. Sure SS Daytonas are somewhat easier to find these days, but Vegas has got to be the last place to find one. I've got a buddy in Dallas who was just offered one from his AD, I'll see if he got it or not. If not I will get the AD's info and give it to you.

Yeah, they prefer to sell to the ones that buy many pieces from them. No big deal though.

I did like it, but the weight wasn't right to me. Just my personal thoughts..

SS Daytonas are not that difficult to find in my part of the woods.
