Will there be a new daytona 50th anniversary coming out next year?

Will rolex release a 50th anniversary daytona watch next year?

Sorry my crystal ball is broken but only Rolex knows for sure what will happen.

Having just bought a SS daytona, I can honestly say that I cant think of one way that I would like to see the watch upgraded. I think it is pure in its design now...
I know that some would like to see the bezel in black or a date option. but imo the reflective bezel is what makes it special and the date option may clutter the dial.......and a supercase? may make it too big......the size is perfect as is....

Then the thought of an aniversary model, I can see that...a special dial with some green..but where and how???

Maybe a 50th edition with a green dial? Other than that I'm not quite sure what they could do

I wouldn't personally get over-excited.

I think a retro-looking black bezel a la 6263 would be pretty neat, but otherwise hopefully no changes. Please no larger case size and please no date, its just going to clutter it and throw off the symmetry

As much as I love the Sub LV, I personally think Rolex would be foolish to even attempt to alter the Daytona.
As mentioned "Daytona" is Green may be subtle enough to make it work.

i hope not

im sure a 50th anniversary model would stay closer to the model which was introduced 50 years ago - therefore i see no reason why they would make it a 42mm and have a date function

a supercase and green bits on the other hand will be welcomed imo

however - it'd be a nice addition to the Daytona range and call it a "Daytona II"

Oh...I forgot the most important part...

Rolex will sell these Anniversary watches for half the current retail price of the SS Daytona as a Thank You to all its loyal customers worldwide.

I think everyone has been speculating for some time now, on when. I think 2012-2013.

I think I would like them more if they were just a little bigger (42mm tops) to space out the dial and please, please, bring back black bezels to give more room for the face.
