That generation laid the groundwrok for everything we now have. Roads, Telephones, Dams, Electrical grid, underground gaslines ect. Wonder why our infrastructre is crumbling? 70 years is a looong time for anything to last. Thank you, to the "Greatest" generation! Awesome pics.

Those were great, but where were the Indians? God I miss the Native Americans! Seeing those proud, regal Indians while traveling through Oklahoma as a child....that is something I hope I never will forget.
