rolex 14K case s/s Back

Just obtained an unusual Rolex ref 1024. its case is 14K (not plated) with S/S back . Wonderful greyish dial and witha 1570 movement. Is this a rare one? Whats it wrth?.

First welcome to TRF don't see many of those today made mainly for US and Canadian markets. 14ct shell ring,smooth bezel OP,would of had a riveted Oyster bracelet as original. Pre 60s had the Cal 1560 and from the mid 60s the cal 1570.Now as to the price well cannot be sure on that one, more unusual that collectable but around the $1200 to $1750 with original bracelet perhaps a bit more.

Nice watch, I have a similar one, model 1025 dated to around 1963-65 with original rivitted bracelet.

Price as Padi mentioned. Completeness and condition are paramount.
