Submariner 116610LN
Just got the 2010 Submariner 116610LN black dial.... My first Rolex!
Now I just got couple questions, 1) Supposedly the Superluminova has the blue lume.... but mine still has the greeniesh lume.... is that right? 2) Also. is there any way I can find out the production date of my Submariner? |

I have the LV and although it may appear green to you, compared to the GMTIIc it definitely looks blue

Thanks WPI, will check out my friends 16610...
By the way, here's couple more questions..... for you and anyone else 1) what's the V-series? How many other 'series' is/ are under the 116610? 2) where can I get some quality NATO strap for mine new Sub? Is Maratec a good choice? Tks! |

Check the serial of the watch. What series. This would help you identify the year of make |

Hi nnb239, thanks for the tip... but on the certification card, the serial number is ##RV####..... So, what's that mean? what year is this from?

Welcome to TRF.
Your watch would be 2010 production with the "random" serial number assignment. Post a couple of pics of the dial all lumed up. It shouldn't be green.

Thanks for the warm welcome! And I will tag some more photos with the NATO strap when they arrives (just ordered Sunday from www.broadarrow.net/maratac.htm).
The 20mm Nato straps I ordered are from Maratac, hopefully they are quality stuff.... If not then I will just use them at the interim till I find other good quality Nato nylon strap...... So, any suggestions/ recommendation for quality Nato straps? |
